People look at the coaches here and assume fitness came easy to us. The photo above says otherwise. The left side is Garrett in October 2012. The right side is a competition stage.
Garrett
Garrett didn't start as an athlete. He built himself into one — over a decade under the bar, an extreme-sports background, and his own share of injuries along the way. That last part matters more than the trophies: learning to train around a beat-up back and knees is why injury-modified programming is built into every program at Transformations. It isn't a special accommodation we bolt on. It's how we coach, because it's how Garrett had to train.
Heather
Heather is 55. She's been through menopause, she's been training for well over a decade, and she's in the best shape of her life. Not because she won a genetic lottery — because she trains the way we teach every woman who walks in here: strength first, protein first, and a plan that changes when your body changes. When a member in her 50s asks 'can someone like me actually do this?' — Heather is the answer, standing on the gym floor.
Why we built this studio
Here's the thing people get wrong about Transformations: they see strong women in our photos and think 'Garrett only trains athletes.' Backwards. Almost nobody who walks through our door is an athlete. They're teachers, nurses, retirees, parents — most of them starting over, many of them nervous about being in a gym at all.
We don't train athletes. We create them.
Every transformation on this site started with an ordinary person and one conversation. That conversation is free: a 12-point body composition scan — about 20 minutes, and you leave knowing your body fat, your muscle mass, and exactly where you'd start. No pressure. No obligation. Just your real numbers, and an honest read on what's possible.
