Healthy, Strong & Balanced for Life

Meet Dr. Shallon Craddock, she's a doctor, mother and powerhouse whose story will resonate with any busy mom who can't seem to find the time (or money) to invest in her own health. Read on to hear about her amazing journey from overwhelmed and overweight to fit and fab!


"In my 20s, I was not only pursuing my career as a doctor, but I was also a professional dancer and fit. My early to mid-30s, my husband and I were blessed with 2 beautiful children. I practiced medicine full-time, and many times worked 60+ hours a week, day or night. My stress level increased and the pounds came with it. I also resolved that I had no time for the gym, and I began to put self-care on hold.


I met Heather in 2016, and she told me what it would take to get in shape, but I wasn’t ready to pay the money for a trainer and I wasn’t ready to do daily food logs, calorie and macro counting.


As the years went by, I gained 40 pounds. I did try things on and off to lose weight. I tried to go the gym on and off, “wandering around” trying to figure out what to do, and not getting any results. I tried different diets and weight loss programs. I tried a gym partner to hold me accountable, but within a few weeks, life made me or the other person too busy. With my family history, I knew it was a matter of time before I was at risk of developing diabetes or high blood pressure.



After getting off our family cruise in July 2019, I was even heavier, and “sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.” I had a “complaining moment” with my dear friend Dionne who told me to get a trainer, so I kept that in the back of my mind. A few days later, I was sitting in a restaurant with my family, and Heather walked by and stopped to say “hello”. I said, “Heather, I am ready!” She gave me her number and the rest is history.


I had to resolve that I was ready to change and I asked God to help me!!! He did, he transformed my heart and my mind to want this, and to stick with it! Heather gave me my macro diet plan and calories per day. She gave me an accountability group of 4 other awesome, encouraging women to share my daily food log, macros and morning weight. I met with Heather 4 hours a week for strength training and weekly body fat measurements.


The pounds began to fall off, I was burning body fat, and feeling great! Four and a half months later, I hit my goal, my wedding weight of 127 lbs! Along the way, I burned 11% body fat too!


Heather helps her clients mind, body and soul. She truly cares about her clients and I am so grateful to be a part of Transformations Hawaii Studio. I want to be healthy, strong, balanced for the rest of my life and I am grateful for Transformations setting me on my path and helping me to stay there!"
